How can we help?

Answers to common questions about our services, process, and working together.

Getting Started

How do I get started with Emperor Creative Studio?

The easiest way is to fill out the contact form at /contact or send us a message on WhatsApp. Tell us what you want to build, your rough timeline, and your budget range. We will get back to you within 24 hours with honest feedback and a clear next step.

What information should I prepare before our first call?

You do not need a full brief. An idea and a rough sense of what you want to achieve is enough to start. If you have design references, a target audience in mind, a timeline, or a budget range, those help us give you a more useful first response. We will ask the right questions on the call.

Do you work with startups or only established businesses?

We work with both. We have built products for founders working from nothing but an idea, and we have worked with companies spending six figures on a single platform. What matters is that you have a clear goal and a realistic budget for what you want to build.

What happens after I submit the contact form?

We review your message, usually within a few hours during business hours. We respond within 24 hours with initial thoughts and any clarifying questions. If your project is a good fit, we schedule a free 30-minute strategy call. After the call, we follow up with a proposal within a few days.

Services & Pricing

What services do you offer?

We build across five areas: websites and mobile apps, AI and SaaS platforms, VR and immersive experiences, games, and blockchain and Web3 products. Visit /services for a full breakdown of each.

How is pricing determined?

Pricing depends on scope, complexity, and timeline. We offer fixed-price proposals for well-defined projects and time-and-materials for ongoing or evolving scopes. All pricing figures on the site are ranges. Actual quotes come from a free strategy call once we understand your specific requirements.

Do you offer ongoing maintenance or retainer plans?

Yes. After launch we offer monthly support retainers that cover bug fixes, minor updates, hosting management, and priority response time. The scope and pricing of retainers are agreed on during the project kick-off so there are no surprises.

Can I start with a smaller project and scale up later?

Yes. Many clients start with an MVP or a single feature and grow from there. We design our work to be modular so expanding later is straightforward. Just let us know your long-term goals upfront so we can build the foundation accordingly.

Do you offer rush or fast-track delivery?

In some cases, yes. If you have a hard deadline, tell us upfront and we will let you know if it is achievable. Fast-track timelines may involve additional cost due to resource prioritisation. We will always be honest with you about what is and is not realistic before you commit.

Process & Timeline

What does your development process look like?

Every project follows six phases: Discovery and Brief (1 to 2 weeks), Strategy and Architecture (1 to 2 weeks), Design and Prototype (2 to 4 weeks), Development (4 to 12 weeks), Testing and QA (1 to 2 weeks), and Launch and Support (ongoing). Each phase has clear deliverables and a sign-off checkpoint before we move forward. You can read the full breakdown at /process.

How long does a typical project take?

A landing page or simple marketing site takes 3 to 4 weeks. A full web app takes 4 to 6 weeks. Mobile apps take 6 weeks or more. Full SaaS platforms run 10 to 20 weeks depending on scope. VR, game, and blockchain projects vary widely. Every proposal includes a precise timeline for your specific project.

How involved do I need to be during the project?

At minimum, we need you available for a weekly check-in and feedback on key milestones like designs and demos. The more available you are, the faster we can move. We will never block progress waiting on you โ€” we will always have something else moving while feedback is pending.

How do revisions work and how many do I get?

Revision rounds are defined in the proposal for each phase. Typically we include two rounds of revisions on designs and one round on developed features before sign-off. Revisions that fall outside the agreed scope are handled as change requests and assessed for timeline and cost impact before proceeding.

What happens if my requirements change mid-project?

Change requests are normal. We assess the impact on timeline and budget, present you with options, and only proceed after you approve. We never absorb out-of-scope work without telling you first.

Technical & Delivery

What technologies do you use?

Our default stack is Next.js and React on the frontend, Node.js or Python on the backend, PostgreSQL via Supabase, and cloud infrastructure on Vercel or AWS. For immersive projects we use Three.js, WebGL, Unreal Engine, and Unity. The stack is always chosen based on what is right for your project, not what is easiest for us.

Will I own the source code?

Yes. Upon final payment you receive full ownership of all source code, design assets, and IP created during the project. We use private GitHub repositories throughout development and transfer full ownership at handover. No strings attached.

Do you handle hosting and deployment?

We can manage hosting end to end, or we can deploy to your existing infrastructure. We recommend Vercel for web projects and AWS or GCP for heavier backend workloads. Hosting costs are separate from development fees and will be outlined clearly in the proposal.

What is your QA process?

Every project includes automated testing (unit and integration), cross-browser and device testing, performance audits targeting a Lighthouse score of 90 or above, and accessibility checks to WCAG 2.1 AA. We also run a structured UAT phase with you before launch so nothing ships without your sign-off.

How do you handle data security and access to my accounts?

We only request access to the accounts and credentials we genuinely need to do the work. All credentials are stored in a secure password manager and never shared beyond the team members working on your project. Access is revoked and credentials are rotated at handover. If you have specific security requirements, let us know at the start and we will accommodate them.

Payments & Contracts

What are your payment terms?

Standard terms are 50% deposit at project start, 25% at design sign-off, and 25% at launch. For larger projects we can structure milestone-based payment schedules. Payment terms are always laid out clearly in the proposal before you commit to anything.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept bank transfers and major card payments. For international clients, we also accept cryptocurrency including USDT, USDC, BTC, and ETH for faster, borderless transactions. Your preferred payment method is confirmed before the project begins.

Is there a contract?

Yes. Every project is covered by a written Statement of Work that defines deliverables, timeline, payment schedule, and IP ownership. We use plain-language contracts that are straightforward to review. We are also happy to sign an NDA before any sensitive project details are shared.

What is your refund policy?

Work completed up to the point of cancellation is non-refundable. If we miss an agreed deadline for reasons within our control, we will credit future work accordingly. Full terms are set out in the Statement of Work.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes. We are happy to sign a mutual NDA before any sensitive project details are shared. Just mention it when you first reach out and we will sort it before the conversation goes any further.

Communication & Collaboration

How do you communicate with clients during a project?

Day-to-day communication happens via WhatsApp or Slack, depending on your preference. For milestone reviews and design sign-offs we use Google Meet or Zoom. You get weekly progress updates and access to a shared project board so you always know where things stand.

Do you work with clients in different time zones?

Yes. We work with clients across the US, Europe, the Middle East, and beyond. We adjust our communication schedule to overlap with your working hours. As long as there is a 2 to 3 hour window of overlap, projects run smoothly.

Will I have a dedicated point of contact?

Yes. Every project has a dedicated project lead who is your main point of contact from kick-off to handover. You will not be passed between different people depending on what phase you are in.

Can you work alongside my in-house team or an existing agency?

Yes. We regularly work alongside client developers, designers, and third-party agencies. We are comfortable fitting into your existing workflow, tools, and communication channels. Just let us know the setup at the start.

Do you offer white-label services?

Yes. We take on white-label projects where we build under your brand. This requires a written agreement before work begins. Reach out and we can discuss the details.

Confidentiality & Legal

Will you keep my project confidential?

Yes. Everything you share with us is treated as confidential. We do not discuss client projects publicly without explicit permission, and we do not use your project as a case study or portfolio example without your agreement.

Do you share client data with third parties?

No. Client data, credentials, and project details are never shared with third parties outside of the team members working on your project. We use secure, encrypted tools for all storage and communication.

What happens to my data and assets after the project ends?

At project handover, all your assets, credentials, and code are transferred to you. We retain a copy only for our internal records as required by law. On request, we will delete all client data from our systems within 30 days of project completion.

Who owns the work during the development phase?

All work created during the project is yours upon final payment. During development, the work is held in trust under the terms of the Statement of Work. We do not use, license, or share any code or assets built for your project.

What jurisdiction do your contracts fall under?

Our standard contracts are governed by the laws of New York, United States. If you require contracts under a different jurisdiction, let us know and we will review it case by case.
